Alphapete + Alphabars
2025
Alphapete is based on Peter Saville's work with New Order & Factory Records in the early to mid 80's, ABC is a simple interface to convert type into an alphabet of colours and gradients.
Alphabars is the same technique, this time employing the "repeating-gradient" attribute, used to create a barcode representation of the inputted text.

What Colour Is It?
2014
Web-based art-piece that converts the time of day into the corresponding hex value so the background subtly changes over the course of the day telling the viewer what "colour" it is.
When first released on my former website "scn9a.org" in December 2014, its virality was immediate, briefly becoming approximately the 12,000th most visited website on the internet, reaching the top 0.007% of active websites at the time.

Open Book
2013
My first foray into human-user interfacing. Open Book was commissioned to accompany the book launch of "Modern Movement", a collection of Photography stills showcasing prominent figures in Berlin's early-millenium alternative music scene.
The software digitally splays the book's contents onto a virtual 3D environment which, through the use of gesture recognition infrared cameras, becomes an NUI (Natural User Interface) image viewer.
It Allows the user to manipulate the image plane with a variety of familiar hand gestures and even display information about each image.
